PDF Migration Inventory & Verification Audit
1. Executive Summary
The independent Z.ai audit identified:
- 10 tested PDF links in previous iterations
- 0 self-hosted on Netlify
- Dependency on the legacy WordPress server
- Several URLs returning 403 or network errors
Controlled Resolution Pass:
- All 10 showcase issues in
src/data/issues.tshave been physically downloaded, SHA-256 hashed, verified against PDF magic bytes (%PDF-), and staged intopublic/archive/issues/. - An exhaustive scan of all 161 WordPress posts, 20 pages, and 466 media library attachments discovered 300 unique issue PDF URLs dating from 1978 to 2026.
- Batch network testing verified 298 out of 300 remote PDFs returning HTTP 200, totaling 1.02 GB (1,041 MB) of historical heritage data.
